I suddenly had a dread-for-John moment. I’ve loved John’s music for a LONG time. But I think this is my favorite performance of John’s.
I wish John the VERY best in overcoming the current issues with his vocal chords. I think John will always play the guitar, and be remembered as one of the greatest at it, but I genuinely love his vocals, and pray for his sake (and mine) that he has a complete recovery.

Can I just say I have had a TERRIBLE week- Power outage, car problems, malfunctioning garage door. (All things that I am not capable of handling myself, which is VERY diffcult for a chick with admittedly serious control issues.)
On top of that it’s a hectic week at work. I’m WAY behind, and there’s a major deadline looming next week. (We won’t even cover the reasons why even during a good week, I don’t want to be here anymore.)
But THIS made me smile. This may be the highlight of my week. Unless he goes on to win 3 more matches and take this things home. I think for the next 3 days, there’s not much that could make me happier.
What Texas A&M Brings To The SEC
This is a great article for all of those wondering why we would love to have A&M join our conference.

Can’t we just poach from the ACC? I’m sure we could convince GA Tech, Florida St, or Clemson to come to the SEC.
Looking at the map, the travel is going to be terrible. Adding A&M is bad enough. Can you imagine if they add West Virginia & then make A&M/UWV the cross-conference rivalry? That’s more than 1300 miles. Are enough fans going to make that trip to make it a fun rivalry? I’d rather take almost ANY ACC school than West Virginia. And Missouri isn’t the South!!
We’d be better off adding a crap school to the West. The East has Vandy & Kentucky to guarantee at least 2 wins a year. Could the West use a team like that?? How does everyone feel about Tulane or Rice??
